With our ears and hearts heeding Jesus' invitation to love one another as He loved us,
with no hesitation and no measure,
the Mexico Network of Rainbow Catholics (REDCAM) hopes to contribute to the forging of a truly universal religious and spiritual community in which there is room for all the faithful, without exception.
a different church
As LGBTI+ Catholics (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, intersexual or some other identification other than heterosexual), we pray for a Christian and Catholic community capable of making the Kingdom of God a tangible reality in our world.
Because "it is impossible for us not to speak about what we have seen and heard" (Acts 4, 20) – and because we are witnesses of the immense sanctifying force of our Church – we do not cease in our search for that truly universal, inclusive and loving Catholic community.
I see the relevance of communities like this because this has saved my life. It has taken me to reconcile with my Catholic faith, with God and, above all, I have found a great family.
